Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski received a report of identity theft from a victim at Spring Lake Police Headquarters.

Officer William Noble received a report of attempted fraud to a business.  Citizens are urged to be skeptical of  companies attempted to receive payment from a pre-paid card.  Please check our website for this and other current scams in our area.

 

October 20th

Patrolman Ryan Reiff received a report of shoplifting from a business in the 1200 block of Third Avenue.

UPDATED: Individual identified and arrested on October 31st.

October 19th

Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of a dispute from a resident in the 100 block of York Avenue.

 

October 18th

Patrolman Timothy Moran received a report of theft of a trailer from the area of Brown Avenue Lot.

Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski received a report of fraud from a resident in the 900 block of Ocean Avenue.

Patrolman Sean Duggan responded to the Ludlow Avenue Boardwalk for a unattended bag.  Ptl. Duggan determined the bag contained personal items and was secured in attempt to locate owners

October 17th

Sergeant Timothy Moran and Patrolman Emmett Smith responded to the 400 block of Shore road for a dispute.

 

October 16th

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop a the intersection of First Avenue and Salem Avenue, Shawn Cruez 44, Ocean Gate was arrested by Patrolman Emmett Smith.  Cruez was arrested based on an outstanding warrant out of another jurisdiction.

 

October 15th

Officer William Noble received a report of theft from a residence in the 000 block of Glenwood Place.

October 11th

Patrolman William Kelly responded to the 100 block of Jersey Avenue for a dispute.

October 10th

Michael Morrison 30, Bayville was arrested by Patrolman Michael Palmer.  Morrison was charged with endangering the welfare of a child in the 400 block of Atlantic Avenue.  Patrolman Matthew Phillips assisted in the arrest.

Wanita Morrison 29, Bayville was arrested by Patrolman Michael Palmer.  Morrison was charged with aggravated assault in the area of the 400 block of Atlantic Avenue.  Patrolman Matthew Phillips assisted in the arrest.

 

October 9th

Patrolman Sean Duggan responded to a report of a suspicious bag left unattended a the Spring Lake Train Station.  Owner of the bag was identified and found to have left the bag behind by mistake.
