Patrolman Jeffrey Algor and Patrolman James Heine responded to the Ludlow Avenue railroad crossing for a vehicle on the railroad tracks. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was removed without incident. NJ Transit Trains were delayed for short time while the vehicle was removed.

Vehicle matching the description from the victim had similar incidents in Belmar, Sea Girt and Manasquan. Residents are reminded to lock your vehicles and residences at all times.
Patrols responded to reports of swimmers in distress in the area of Brighton Avenue Beach. Initial report had a vessel overturned with swimmers in the water in distress. Upon patrols arrival they located the vessel upright with all parties on-board. Coast Guard was requested to make contact with vessel and confirm.
