Subsequent to a borough ordinance violation, David Garrett 24, Morris Township was arrested by Officer Ian Davis on the Newark Avenue Beach. Â Garrett was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be under 50 grams of marijuana as well as possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Â Officer Andrew Garrity and Officer William Flockhart assisted in the arrest.
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Thomas Costello 64, East Brunswick was arrested in the 400 block of Passaic Avenue by Patrolman Emmett Smith. Â Costello charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be cocaine, having an active warrant out of another jurisdiction as well as motor vehicle offenses.
