February 11th

Patrolman William Kelly and Patrolman Michael Palmer were dispatched to the 000 block of Tuttle Avenue for a working fire.  The lone occupant of the home was safe and outside of the residence upon officers arrival.  Spring Lake Fire Companies as well as fire companies from Spring Lake Heights, Wall responded to assist in extinguishing the fire.  Spring Lake and Manasquan First Aid responded as a precaution.  No injuries were reported.

February 10th

Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of burglary, criminal mischief and theft to a residence in the 100 block of Tuttle Avenue.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.

February 9th

Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of fraud from a resident in the 300 block of Tuttle Avenue.

February 3rd

Officer William Noble received a report of attempted fraud from a resident in the 000 block of Elizabeth Court.

January 30th

Patrolman Sean Duggan received a report of fraud from a resident that walked into Spring Lake Police Headquarters.

January 26th

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of harassment from a resident that responded to Spring Lake Police Headquarters.

January 23rd

Patrolman Matthew Phillips responded to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2500 block of Ocean Avenue.

January 21st

Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka responded to the 2000 block of Ocean Avenue for a report of a suspicious incident.

January 18th

Patrolman Michael Palmer responded to the 1800 block of Fifth Avenue for a dispute.

Dominic Beerman, 27, of Belmar was arrested by Patrolman Matthew Phillips. Beerman was charged with one count of Burglary, four counts of Criminal Attempt – Burglary and Five Counts of Trespass.  The charges stem from an investigation that began on January 10th.  Beerman was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution on a no bail warrant.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski, as well as Officers from the Wall Township Police Department and Belmar Police Department assisted in identifying and arresting Beerman.

 

January 16th

Patrolman Sean Duggan received a report of theft from a residence in the 300 block of Jersey Avenue.
