Officer Tyler Vadas received a report of theft from 1200 block of Third Avenue.
Clayton Nelson 65, Middlesex, was arrested by Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka. Nelson was arrested based on an active warrant out of York County, NY.
Sergeant Patrick Gilroy reported criminal mischief in the area of Marucci Park.

On May 9th H.W. Mountz School will be participating in National Bike / Walk to School Event.  Students are encouraged to walk safely or ride bike (with a helmet) to school.
Tuttle Avenue between Fourth Avenue and Fifth Avenue (the front of the school) will be closed to vehicle traffic both in the morning and the afternoon for the event.
Patrolman Michael Palmer received a report of a dispute in the 400 block of Shore Road.
Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka received a report of fraud from a resident int he 100 block of Atlantic Avenue.
Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of burglary and criminal mischief to a residence in the 500 block of Ludlow. Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.
In the 500 block of Warren Avenue, Kenneth Izzo 69, Spring Lake was arrested by Patrolman Ryan Reiff. Officers responded to the area after a call for a reported theft. After an investigation the officers were able to locate the property and Izzo was charged with theft, fencing, and assault. Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski and Patrolman Emmett Smith assisted in the investigation and arrest.
