Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Joseph Sweeny 25, Toms River was arrested by Patrolman Ryan Reiff based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.
Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of fraud from a resident in the 400 block of Salem Avenue.
Officer Harry Cuttrell responded to the 000 block of Lorraine Avenue for a red tailed hawk that was struck by an vehicle and stuck in the grill. Â With the assistance of the Associated Human Society the hawk was freed and taken for treatment.
