October 5th

Sergeant Sean Duggan responded to the North End Pavilion for a report of harassment.

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Josephine Roy 63, Belmar, was arrested by Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka.  Roy was arrested in the 000 block of First Avenue based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.

October 4th

Patrolman Ryan Reiff responded too a dispute in the 200 block of Monmouth Avenue.

Patrolman Jeffrey Algor and Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski responded to the 400 block of Salem Avenue for a suspicious incident.

September 25th

Patrolman Michael Palmer And Patrolman Jeffrey Algor responded to the Salem Avenue Beach for a report of a swimmer in distress.  Upon arrival patrols located a single victim that was being assisted out of the water by Spring Lake Lifeguards and Spring Lake Police Sergeant Sean Duggan (off duty).  The victim refused any and all medical assistance.

On October 7, 2017 the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh will be hosting a 5K starting from 16th Avenue in Lake Como at 9:00 am.  The race will travel through portions of the Borough of Spring Lake.

All or portions of the following roadways may be closed to traffic during the event:

Third Avenue

Monroe Avenue

South Boulevard

Ocean Avenue

September 24th

Patrolman Micheal Palmer received a report of theft of a motor vehicle from the 300 block of Pitney Avenue.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.

Patrolman Ryan Reiff & Patrolman Michael Palmer responded to Lorraine Avenue Beach for a report of a swimmer in distress.  Upon arrival patrols found the victim was assisted out of the water by a off-duty lifeguard.  The victim was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center as a precaution.

Patrolman William Kelly & Patrolman James Heine responded to the 400 block of Ocean Road for a reported dispute.
