Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka received a report of burglary and theft of a bicycle from a garage in the 1100 block of Ocean Avenue.

Patrolman Emmett Smith received a report of vandalism to a property in the 2100 block of Third Avenue.
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the 2500 block of Ocean Avenue, Isaac Cooper 48, Newark was arrested by Patrolman Emmett Smith. Â Cooper was arrested based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the 2500 block of Ocean Avenue, Â Craig Wingate 58, Newark was arrested by Patrolman Emmett Smith. Â Wingate was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia as well as motor vehicle offenses.
