Sergeant Timothy Moran & Patrolman William Kelly responded to a report of individuals going through vehicles in the 200 block of Howell Avenue.  Upon arrival patrols observed the individuals flee the area on foot.  After a short foot chase two individuals were apprehended.  With the assistance of Spring Lake Heights, Belmar, Sea Girt and Lake Como Police Departments the remaining 3 individuals were apprehended shortly after.  Arrested were charged with the following:

- Possession of Burglary Tools
- Criminal Mischief with Damage
- Resist Arrest
- Receiving Stolen Property
* Charges for the juvenile were referred to the Monmouth County family court for processing and final determination.ÂÂ
