Patrolman James Heine responded to the 000 block of York Avenue for a report of a dispute.

Patrolman Matthew Phillips responded to the 300 block of Pitney Avenue for a reported dispute. Incident was determined to be a road rage incident. Parties were identified and forwarded to the court to sign complaints.

Sergeant Patrick Gilroy received a report of theft of a bicycle from the area of Mercer Avenue Beach.

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop Alain Diaz-Diaz 21, Dunellen, was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Liddy near the intersection of South Boulevard and Fourth Avenue. Diaz-Diaz was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance believed to be under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.

Officer Gabrielle Freeman received a report of theft of a bicycle from the area of the South End Pavilion.

Patrolman Joseph Liddy received a report of attempted burglary to residence in the 100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue

Sergeant Patrick Gilroy responded to business in the 200 block of Monmouth Avenue for a dispute.

Patrolman Joseph Liddy received a report of an animal incident in the 000 block of Brown Avenue.

Anita Goldstein 71, Caldwell was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Liddy in the 1400 block of Third Avenue. Goldstein was charged with shoplifting.

Officer Anthony Bartolomei responded to the area of Marucci Park for a juvenile incident.

Officer Anthony Bartolomei received a report of burglary and theft from a victim in the 500 block of Warren Avenue.

UPDATE: September 12th – Victim advised that stolen items were located, no crime occurred.

Paul Moyer 23, Long Valley was arrested in the 100 block of Warren Avenue by Patrolman Joseph Liddy. Moyer was charged with breach of peace.

Patrolman Joseph Liddy received a report of criminal mischief in the area of the 1200 block of Third Avenue.

Officer Anthony Bartolomei received a report of a stolen bicycle from a residence in the 400 block of Church Street. Victim reports last time the bicycle was seen at the residence was August 22nd.
