On May 18th, Sgt. Steven Blecki took a report of vandalism.  Sometime during the overnight unknown actor(s) damaged the Borough of Spring Lake sign at Warren and Fifth Avenue.

On May 16th, Sara Fuentes 37, Belmar was arrested by Ptl. Emmett Smith based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.

On May 12th, Matthew Villa 22, of Staten Island, NY was arrested by Ptl. Emmett Smith for possession of a controlled dangerous substance believed to be marijuana, and other motor vehicle offenses.

On May 9th, Det. Christopher Kucinski and Ptl. Emmett Smith responded to the intersection of Pitney Avenue and Third Avenue for a reported fight.  Upon officers arrival located Phillip Sperry, Jr., 19 of Wall Township and Patrick Duffy, 55 of Bradley Beach involved in a verbal altercation about each other’s driving.  Each was issued a Borough Ordinance for Breach of Peace.

On May 1st, Sgt. Anthony Ploskonka and Det. Christopher Kucinski responded to the Spring Lake Train Station for a motor vehicle fire.
