Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the 2100 block of Third Avenue, Deshaun Lewis 21, Howell was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Liddy. Lewis was arrested based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.

We are proud to announce that the total collection We are proud to announce that the total collection of food over 6 days was an amazing 5,422 lbs.  We would like to thank St Catharines, HW Mountz, the Spring Lake Community House, the Third Avenue Business District as well as all of our residents and other supporters who made this event such an overwhelming SUCCESS. 

In appreciation of the schools support of our food drive the Spring Lake Police Association held a contest to give away three gift cards to the students that guessed closest to the total food collected.

Congratulations to our winners and  thabk you all for your continued support.

The Spring Lake Community & Police Department are organizing a food drive next week to benefit Fulfill of Monmouth & Ocean County.  Donations will be accepted at the following:

TUESDAY (3/2) & WEDNESDAY (3/3) from 8 am to 3 pm - H.W. Mountz School (411 Tuttle Avenue, Spring Lake)

THURSDAY (3/4) & FRIDAY (3/5) from 
from 8 am to 2:30 pm - St. Catharine's School (301 Second Avenue, Spring Lake)

SATURDAY(3/6) & SUNDAY (3/7) from 8 am to 5 pm - Spring Lake Police Headquarters (311 Washington Avenue, Spring Lake)
The Spring Lake Police Department is currently acc The Spring Lake Police Department is currently accepting applications for Class I Special Officers. Special Officer Class I are hired to assist with the beach front, Third Avenue Business District and various events during the summer season.
