Travis Hahn 25, Whiting was arrested by Sergeant Timothy Moran in the 1400 block of Ocean Avenue.  Hahn was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be heroin and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.
Patrolman James Heine received a report o f burglary and theft from a residence in the 1000 block of East Lake.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is assisting in the investigation.
UPDATED MARCH 31ST – SUBJECT IDENTIFIED, ARRESTED
Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the 2400 block of Third Avenue, Salvatore Trione 63, Brick was arrested by Patrolman Michael Palmer.  Trione was arrested based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of a stolen motor vehicle from the driveway of a residence in the 100 block of Monroe.

De•Feet Breast Cancer 5K Run / Walk
On April 1, 2017 @ 9:30am, Mama Mare Breast Cancer Foundation will hold it’s 7th annual De•Feet Breast Cancer 5K Run / Walk.  The event will start on 16th Avenue in Lake Como and travel through Spring Lake & Belmar.

The race will travel through Spring Lake on Third Avenue, Monroe Avenue, South Boulevard and Ocean Avenue.  Portions or all of these roads may be closed or traffic may be diverted during the event.

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop Timothy Brennan 25, Spring Lake Heights was arrested by Matthew Phillips.  Brennan was arrested based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.
