Sergeant Sean Duggan responded to the 2200 block of Second Avenue for a reported dispute.
May 1st
After an extensive investigation Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski identified a juvenile that had accessed another juvenile’s email and made threatening statements. During the investigation it was deemed that the threats made were not credible. The juvenile and his parents were interviewed and paperwork was forwarded to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Family Court for processing.
SL 5 Kids Race – 2022
On May 27th, the Friends of Spring Lake 5 will be hosting the Spring Lake 5’s Kids Race. The event is held on Ocean Avenue near the area of the South End Pavilion. The event is open to children up to 14 years of age.

Ocean Avenue will be closed to traffic and parking from Sussex Avenue south to Sea Girt boarder for the Kids Race.

In the 500 block of Brighton Avenue, Ganaliel Chavez 35, Spring Lake was arrested by Patrolman William Noble. Chavez was charged with simple assault and contempt of court.
