Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of an attempted fraud from a resident in the 400 block of Morris Avenue. The victim realized the call was a scam and disconnected.

March 4th

Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka located acts of vandalism in the area of Divine Park & the area of Washington Avenue Beach.

March 3rd

Patrolman Matthew Phillips received a report of theft of a catalytic converter from a motor vehicle in the 2500 block of Ocean Avenue. Victim reported that the incident occurred on March 1st.

February 28th

Patrolman Ryan Reiff received a report of lost or stolen property in the 1300 block of Third Avenue.

February 25th

Subsequent to an investigation patrols responded to the 000 block of Pitney Avenue for a possible burglary and theft. Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is continuing the investigation.

UPDATE 7/2/2022 – Actor identified and charged

February 23rd

Sergeant Sean Duggan responded to the area of Ocean Avenue and Washington Avenue for a reported dispute.

February 22nd

Patrolman Ryan Reiff and Sergeant Sean Duggan responded to a residence in the 000 block of St. Clair Avenue for a report of an activation of a Ring Doorbell. A check of the residence for actor(s) was negative. Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is investigating.

UPDATE 7/2/2022 – Actor identified and charged

Patrolman Jeffrey Algor responded to the 1700 block of Ocean Avenue for a reported dispute.

February 19th

Patrolman William Kelly responded to the 100 block of Vroom Avenue for a report theft of a motor vehicle.

UPDATED 2/19/2022 – Vehicle was located in Newark, NJ

Patrolman Matthew Phillips responded to the area of the 000 block of Mercer Avenue for an animal complaint.

February 18th

Patrolman Joseph Liddy responded to the 200 block of Morris Avenue for a report of harassment.
