Mutinta Mwiinga 26, Spring Lake was arrested by Patrolman James Heine.  Mwiinga was charged with simple assault in the 500 block of Third Avenue

Patrolman William Kelly received a report of theft by deception in the 300 block of Morris Avenue.

Cherrelle Rainey 23, Long Branch was arrested by Patrolman James Heine based on an outstanding warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Benjamin Cutler 21, Short Hills was arrested by Patrolman James Heine.  Cutler was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

Patrolman Ryan Reiff received a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 300 block of Morris Avenue.

Officer Kyle Dick received a report of theft by deception and forgery from a business in the 400 block of Warren Avenue.  Detective Sergeant Christopher is investigating.

Contact was made with the individual and restitution was made to the business.  No charges will be filed.

James McGarrigle 50, Jackson was arrested by Patrolman Michael Palmer based on an active warrant out of another jurisdiction.

Officer Thomas Gavaghan received a report of theft of a bicycle from the 2500 block of Ocean Avenue.

Officer Joseph Nappi received a report of theft from the area of South End Pavilion

Patrolman James Heine received a report of theft of a bicycle from the 000 block of Jersey Avenue.

Patrolman Emmett Smith received a theft of a bicycle from the front lawn of  a residence in the 500 block of Brighton Avenue.

Patrolman Sean Duggan received a report of theft of service in the 000 block of Ludlow Avenue.

Jeramey Robbins 21, Berkeley Heights was arrested by Patrolman Sean Duggan and charged with Breach of Peace.

Officer Harry Cuttrell received a report of theft of a bicycle from a driveway in the 200 block of South Boulevard.

Sergeant Anthony Ploskonka received a report of a suspicious male in the area of the 1300 block of Third Avenue.

Officer Harry Cuttrell received a report of criminal mischief to a residence in the 1500 block of Ocean Avenue
