August 16th

On St. Clair Avenue Beach Officer Tiffany Brahn located six (6) juvenile females in possession of alcoholic beverages. The juveniles were transported to Spring Lake Police Headquarters. All were released to a guardian.

August 15th

Subsequent to the investigation for a Borough Ordinance violation on Lorraine Avenue Beach, Lisette Cruz, 21, North Brunswick was arrested by Officer Joseph Liddy. Cruz was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be under 50 grams of marijuana as well as possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. Officer Michael Weber and Officer Anthony Bartolomei assisted in the arrest.

August 14th

Officer Joseph Liddy received a report of a stolen bicycle from the area of the 300 block of Ludlow Avenue.

Patrolman William Kelly observed three (3) juveniles on a construction site in the 300 block of St. Clair Avenue. All of the juveniles were counseled and released to their guardians.

August 11th

Officer Christopher McDermott and Patrolman Jeffrey Algor responded to the 100 block of Ludlow for a report of an attempted burglary that occurred in the past.  The victim reported that the incident occurred the prior evening.  Detective Sergeant Christopher Kucinski is assisting in the investigation.

Officer Tiffany Brahn received a report of theft from the area of Lorraine Avenue Beach Front.

Officer Christopher McDermott responded to the area of the North End Pavilion for a report of a dispute.

August 10th

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the 1800 block of Ocean Avenue, Jehna Kubichek 34, Toms River was arrested by Patrolman William Noble.  Kubichek was charged with driving while intoxicated as well as several other motor vehicle summons.

Officer Christopher McDermott received a report of attempted fraud from a business in the 1200 block of Third Avenue.

August 7th

Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the 2500 block of Ocean Avenue, Alex Devoy 21, Avon was arrested by Officer Joseph Liddy.  Devoy was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, believed to be under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia as well as several motor vehicle summons.
