Ptl. Emmett Smith responded to the Salem Avenue Beach for a commercial plane that had lost it’s banner in the ocean. Ptl. Smith, with the assistance of the Spring Lake Lifeguards was able to retrieve the banner and return it to the owners.

Matthew Ficke 23, Madison was issued a summons for breach of peace by Ptl. Michael Palmer in the 1500 Block of Ocean Avenue.

Ptl. Jeffrey Poland responded to Marucci Park for a theft report.

Shawn Williams 35, Neptune was arrested by Ptl. Emmett Smith and charged with theft of a bicycle from the Spring Lake Train Station.

Phoenix Feeley 33, New York was arrested by Sgt. Robert Zoino at Spring Lake Police Headquarters based on outstanding warrants out of Spring Lake.

S.O. Mark Casagrande responded to the 100 block of Tuttle Avenue for a stolen bicycle report.

Ptl. Michael Palmer took a report of a stolen cell phone from the 1500 block of Ocean Avenue.  Ptl Palmer was able to locate the phone and return it to the victim.

Ptl. Michael Palmer & S.O. Mark Casagrande responded to the 000 block of Warren Avenue for a report of harassment.

Edward Gouldner 49, Neptune was arrested by Det. Christopher Kucinski and Ptl. Michael Palmer after investigation revealed that Goulder had stolen three separate bicycles in three separate incidents in July.  Gouldner was charged with three counts of theft, three counts of criminal mischief and three counts of possession of burglar’s tools.

Det. Christopher Kucinski received a report of theft from the area of the South End Pavilion.

Ptl. Jeffrey Poland received a report of vandalism in the 1200 block of Third Avenue.
